2 March, my first day.
The bridge is lively in the morning with fisherman and traffic.
The university is the row of beige buildings across the golden horn.
About a 15-minute walk from my apartment.
Suleymaniye mosque on the hill above the mouth of the golden horn, a view of the
aqueduct in the background.
The view back towards the Galata tower (the opposite shore from the university).
My apartment building is just beneath the tower about 4 blocks and two blocks down the hill to the golden horn. Sadly not much of a view, though a wonderful apartment.
